Is there something I'm missing? Any help is much appreciated. Please let me change your mind. I can't play on a different patch unless I start over. I can't turn down the difficulty unless I start over. I simply don't see how I'm gonna beat this one. The "best" I've done was destroy the first camp near where Eomer arrives, but by that time I had him, Gandalf & maybe 10 rohirrim left. I've tried joining Theodon & Eowyn & some rohirrim with Eomer but same result. I'm able to survive until Eomer arrives, but as soon as he does, another wave comes and his army gets obliterated (even with his invincibility ability). I feel like I've tried every strategy people on here have suggested, but holy shit I just get overrun. Have heroes target ladders, elves behind the wall with a well nearby, rode out with Theodon & some rohirrim to disrupt the first camp built, have tried camping in the uppermost layer. I've tried making a fully upgraded elf army, tried placing them different places.
However, now I'm at Helms Deep and I just CANNOT beat it for the life of me.
So far I've not had any major difficulty in beating the different levels. Now I'm playing BFME, patch 2.22 version 45 and doing the good campaign. Both of those I beat on medium difficulty without major issues, besides a few hiccups here and there. I like the story elements of the campaign modes and I've beaten BFME 2 & ROTWK. I'm not a very good rts player and I play the games just for fun & nostalgia. I've read all posts on here on how to beat it, but I'm just simply not able to.
